Abstract

Multi display cockpit designs are increasingly popular and aim to provide the content not only to the driver, but also the co‐driver (front seat passenger). This poses a potential safety risk of driver distraction by some content intended for co‐driver entertainment. One potential solution to address it, is switchable (active) privacy allowing to control the display viewing modes.
