Abstract

Geopolymers are considered as green construction materials due to their competitive mechanical properties and low greenhouse gas emissions. The recent emerging 3D printing technology enables the design and production of high-quality fiber-reinforced geopolymer composites with desirable properties to address their intrinsic brittleness, which hold great promise in construction and environment-related applications. This chapter introduces the advanced strategies and recent developments in 3D printing of fiber-reinforced geopolymer composites, aiming to provide insights into the design of novel geopolymer composites for various applications. Finally, perspectives on current challenges and potential research pursuits are also discussed.
