Abstract

Four-dimensional computed tomography (4D-CT) generated using amplitude binning performs better and contains fewer artifacts, compared to those based on phase binning. However, missing amplitude values may appear during image acquisition using the external respiratory signal provided by a Real-time Position Management system (RPM) Here, we propose a method to overcome possible missing amplitude values based on accurate motion inter/extrapolation.
