Abstract

AbstractIn projectors based on 3‐panel architectures using reflective LCDs polarizing beam splitters are key elements for separating dark state form bright state. RGB separation and recombination is performed by dichroics. A new architecture based on a PBS and a dichroic prism will be presented and important characteristics will be discussed.
