Abstract
Recently the ultrasound image has been available on the research for activity of muscles and tendons. If a real time analysis system of muscles and tendons become possible, we consider that this system is able to develop effective sport training methods and so on. However, currently real-time ultrasound image is only recorded with a video, and the construction of a real time measurement system for activity of muscles and tendons has never been developed. We propose the development of a pennation angle detection system using a general image processing technique. And this proposal system can realize to detect pennation angle. We verify that the application can detect pennation angle in real-time.
