3rd International Symposium on Green Technology for Value Chains 2018

Abstract

PrefaceThe third International Symposium on Green Technology for Value Chains (GreenVC) 2018 was held on 1-2 November 2018 in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City – South Tangerang, Indonesia. This symposium brought together leading academic scientists, researchers, university students and scholars as well as industries, to promote scientific cooperation among participants. The symposium was organized by the Research Unit for Clean Technology, Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI) and mainly supported by Deputy for Engineering and Sciences, LIPI.The proceedings of GreenVC 2018 present the original and unpublished results in all areas of interests. Thirty-four papers have been selected based on the originality and interests to the audiences. Topics on (1) Green Materials and Process, (2) Waste Treatment and Management, (3) Green Energy, (4) Sociotechnological Assessment on Green Production, (5) Life Cycle and Environmental Monitoring, and (6) Environmental Nanotechnology were presented orally or in poster presentations.We would like to express our sincere gratitude to our Advisory Board, Scientific and Editorial Board for their positive contribution to keep the quality of the articles presented in this proceeding.
