Dragonflies are insects that can use as environmental bioindicator. Observations were carried out in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD) City Park 2 which is one of the green open areas in the South Tangerang City. Dragonflies can be found in the plant and near water sources on this site. This study aims to determine species and fluctuation of dragonfly in BSD City Park 2, South Tangerang, Banten by using survey methods. Sampling technique using a line transects along the bike road within the area in BSD City Park 2. A sampling of data was every two months from August 2013 until February 2015. Based on the observations have been identified 22 species of dragonflies are classified into six families, three families belong to the suborder Anisoptera and three other families classified suborder Zygoptera. Our observation showed that fluctuation presence and encountered both the number and species of dragonfly. The highest number of species was found in December 2014 while the lowest in October 2013. Dragonflies are always found on this site are Orthetrum sabina, Orthetrum chrysis, Libellago lineata and Copera marginipes.
