Abstract

3rd International Congress of Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Science (CIIMCA 2017)Preface. The Mechanical Engineering Department of the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana Bucaramanga (Colombia) organized the 3rd International Congress of Mechanical Engineering and Agricultural Science (CIIMCA 2017), from October 2 to 6, 2017. This congress made part of the International Week of Research, Development and Innovation (SIIDI 2017), which took place in the University Campus and included the 2nd international Conference Science and Technology of Drying (CiCTS 2017) and the 3rd International meeting of the RIIVI net.Participants were invited to present original research works dealing with 5 thematic areas: 1) Science and Technology of Drying, 2) Engineering fundamentals, modelling, testing and simulation, 3) Renewable energy and thermal science, 4) Material science and engineering, 5) Automation and Agricultural Science.
