Abstract
A microchannel has a laminar flow environment due to low Reynolds number, and cells move along the streamlines of the flow path. However, if the cross sectional dimention of the microchannel is close to that of cell size, the movement is restricted by the wall of microchannel, and it results in not along the streamline. In this paper, we show the zigzag motion of red blood cell (RBC) in microchannel.
