Abstract

Abstract This work presents the study about the practicability of building a low-speed permanent magnet generator suitable for energy harvesting applications using 3D-printed structures. 3D-printer is used to prepare phototype of proposed generator. The major parts of the proposed device are fabricated through Polylactic Acid and permanent magnet materials. The prototype permanent magnet generator is tested with rotational speed under low speed condition. The experimental results have been shown that the construction generator can generate the electrical energy to charges the battery with maximum voltage at battery terminal of 1,136 mV
