Abstract

The spectrum of arsenic was photographed in the 400–1500-A region on a 3-m normal-incidence spectrograph using a triggered spark source. On the basis of the new measurements, the earlier analysis of As vii was confirmed, revised, and extended. All levels of the 3d9, 3d84s, 3d84p, and 3p53d10 configurations have been established. Least-squares-fit energy parameter calculations support the analysis. Eighty-five additional lines have been classified in the As VII spectrum.
