Abstract

Pediatric head trauma is a common cause of morbidity and often results in skull fractures. Pediatric skull fractures are distinct from adult fractures in that they have a greater capacity to undergo remodeling. The objective of this study was to evaluate whether children with isolated skull fractures requires surgical intervention. We reviewed characteristics, injuries, and outcomes.
