Abstract
The histologic diagnosis of early mycosis fungoides (eMF) is one of the most difficult tasks in dermatopathology. Experts have attempted to define specific histopathologic criteria for the diagnosis of eMF, but a definite consensus has not been reached. We assessed the prevalence of a series of predetermined histologic parameters in Puerto Rican patients with a diagnosis of eMF. This was a retrospective study from 2015 to 2021 at the University of Puerto Rico. Only Puerto Rican patients with an unequivocal diagnosis of eMF (Stage 1A/1B) were included.
