Abstract
Introduction and aims of the study: This systematic review compares all available data regarding the accuracy of 3D ultrasonography, 2D ultrasonography and MRI in the prediction of deep invasion of the myometrium in adult women diagnosed with endometrial cancer. The aim is to determine whether three-dimensional ultrasound is superior to the other two, more conventional and well-established imaging modalities. Methods: The bibliography used in the making of this review was sought in the MEDLINE/PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and Wiley Online Library databases and meticulously evaluated according to PRISMA 2020 guidelines.
