Abstract
Saraswati Bulusu , PhD, in Biochemistry from Calcutta University, with specialization in Nutritional Toxicology, has undertaken special trainings in Program Monitoring and Evaluation at Tufts University, Boston, and Project & Financial Management at IIM Bangalore. Dr. Bulusu was a National Program Manager and the Managing Trustee of the Micronutrient Initiative, India, for more than 10 years and was responsible for developing various fortified low cost products and introduction of such products in the public and private systems. She is currently a nutrition specialist with UNICEF, Hyderabad office, India. She is a recipient of the Junior Scientist Award of the Indian Science Congress Association, Government of India.
