Abstract

The thermal transport in two-dimensional (2D) materials has attracted great attention in the past decade. There has been significant progress in developing new algorithms to predict the new thermal transport properties in 2D materials. Correspondingly, there is also substantial progress in building up new experimental tools to verify the predictions. This chapter provides an introduction to the recent theoretical and experimental progress on the thermal transport properties of 2D materials. It starts with the fundamental concepts of thermal transport at micro/nanoscale. Then, it briefly covers several interesting thermal transport properties and new phenomena. Finally, it elaborates several major theoretical and experimental methods for thermal transport properties of 2D materials.
