Abstract
This chapter outlines the methodology used to gather and analyze data on succession planning practices in Canadian academic libraries. Part one was an online questionnaire and part two was face-to-face interviews conducted on-site at six member libraries of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries. This chapter also includes a list of key terms and definitions used throughout this book.
