Abstract
The conventional actuators which use functional materials like piezoelectric and electromagnetic devices are cannot be used in high temperature environment. We have developed the actuator which is driven with gas/liquid phase change. We developed and examined the bellow type actuator with which is driven with TEG (Tri Ethylene Glycol) for high temperature environment prototype. The boiling point temperature under ordinary pressure of TEG is 287 °C. So that, this prototype model has possibility for around 300 °C temperature range. We measured the static property of TEG prototype model.
