Abstract

The biological variances in freshwater are largely controlled by many ecological parameters, mainly by pH, temperature, turbidity, phosphate, calcium, conductivity, chloride, Mg, TDS, COD, and DO. The change in the water chemistry disturbs the aquatic flora and fauna. Calcium and conductivity are highly related to impacting diversity and are playing an important role. The richest samples of fungi can be seen in water areas with low or moderate temperature and comparatively high total organic matter and dissolved oxygen. It is studied that TDS and DO when ranged high with significant irregular seasonal change the fungal species like Aspergillus niger, A. flavus, Penicillium crysogenum, P. citrinum, Trichoderma viridae, T. harzianum, and Fusarium semitectum are the most common fungi found that possess antimicrobial properties against phytopathogens.
