Abstract

Neoplasms that present in the head and neck of children are very different from those of adults in terms of histology, presenting symptoms, and treatment planning. This chapter discusses epidemiology of pediatric head and neck neoplasms and details presentation and management of common pediatric head and neck neoplasms including lymphoma, Ewing sarcoma, neuroblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, teratoma, thyroid neoplasms, and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
