Abstract

Objective To analyze the characteristics of adverse drug reaction (ADR) reports in our hospital in 2016, so as to provide some references for the promotion of ADR monitoring. Methods ADR cases were statistically analyzed in terms of occupational class, hospital departments, patients, drugs and clinical manifestations, etc. Results Of the 254 cases, 76.4% were reported by pharmacists; 74.9% involved patients were from the department of Gynaecology, pediatrics, and mammary gland; children accounted for 29.9%; anti-infective drugs (33.0%) and anti-tumor drugs (33.0%) were the most frequent suspected drugs. Intravenous injection (72.4%) was the main administration route causing ADR. Skin and appendages damage was the most frequent ADR. Conclusions ADR reports in our hospital has the characteristics of women and children hospital. Monitoring of ADR should be strengthened to promote rational use of drugs.
