Abstract
본 연구는 24시간 어린이집의 영유아, 학부모와 교육환경에 대해 보육교사가 인식한 내용은 무엇인지와 무엇을 요구하는지를 탐구한 연구이다. 이를 위해 G어린이집의 보육교사 10명을 대상으로 2회씩 총 20회의 심층면담이 진행되었다. 수집한 자료를 분석한 결과, 보육교사는 24시간 어린이집의 영유아들이 불안한 정서를 문제행동으로 나타내고, 인간관계의 신뢰성 형성이 어렵다고 인식하고 있었다. 그리고 보육교사는 24시간 어린이집의 학부모들이 기대하는 것들이 많고, 연계보육이 잘 이루어지지 않아서 어려워했다. 마지막으로 보육교사는 24시간 어린이집의 교육환경에 대해 24시간 보육이 주간보육에 편중되어 있고, 전용 교실과 수면실이 없어서 어려워했다. 또한 24시간 어린이집의 영유아들에게는 전문가의 심리치료와 지역사회를 연계한 다양한 경험이 필요하며 부모들을 위한 체계적인 부모교육과 부모참여 프로그램이 요구된다고 하였다. 더불어 24시간 어린이집을 위한 시설과 전용프로그램이 마련되기를 희망하였다. 이러한 연구결과는, 아동상담과 치료를 통합한 포괄적 서비스와 24시간 어린이집 영유아를 위한 시설 마련 및 전용 프로그램에 대한 연구 개발의 필요성을 제기한다.
