Abstract
Numerical analysis has been carried out for turbulent flow in a rectangular cannel with a cylindrical rod. It has been pointed out as a characteristic features from the experimental result that anisotropic turbulence generates the secondary flow of the second kind and pulsation flow is measured in narrow gap region. The calculated results have been compared with the experiment to confirm validity of numerical simulation. As for the comparison, the present turbulent model relatively predicts the experimental data well. Adding to this, calculated results show clearly the generation of pulsation flow near the narrow gap.
