Abstract
In the bifurcation area of high differential pressure regulating valve downstream piping, such as a petrochemical plant, piping may vibrate by high frequency and may result in fatigue breaking for a short time. "Flow excitation vibration" by the vibration of the super sonic speed style formed in a pipe by the one of these causes is pointed out. Flow field in the cross section immediate expansion subordinate style plumbing influences this vibration greatly. In addition, the sound to occur then is related to piping flow field and closeness. In this study, I supposed that flow patterns in the jurisdiction were represented by a sound released from a pipe edge and I compared it with the vibration form of the pipe and considered it.
