Abstract
PrefaceCCEAI 2018 was held in Boracay, the Philippines, during 19-21 January 2018. CCEAI 2018 was organized by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering. The conference provides a useful and wide platform both for displaying the latest research and for exchanging research results and thoughts in Control Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. The participants of the conference were from almost every part of the world, with a background of either academia or industry, including well-known enterprises. The success and prosperity of the conference is reflected by the high level of the papers received.The proceedings are a compilation of the accepted papers and represent interesting outcomes of research and applications of control engineering and artificial intelligence.
