Abstract

The aim of this study is to classify and then to compare the text questions of 8th grade Turkish Teacher Guide Book, Level Determination Examination (called SBS) the year of 2012 and 8th grade 1st semi-year Turkish Common Examination the year of 2013. In the light of this aim, the study is based on the classification of inferences of Chikalanga (1992). As a result, there is not given place to the lexical inferences in the text questions of 8th grade Turkish Teacher Guide Book, and propositional inferences and pragmatic inferences is typically seemed. However, lexical inferences and typically the propositional inferences is seemed in the text questions of Level Determination Examination (called SBS) the year of 2012 and 8th grade 1st semi-year Turkish Common Examination the year of 2013.
