Abstract

In the part of conclusions, professor Istvan Suli-Zakar underlines the importance of infrastructure in the development of Euroregions. The isolated regions, with poor infrastructure will still remain hardly accessible. The author emphasizes the problem of producers from Carpathian Euroregion, which have to become entrepreneurs in order to make the region to develop. In order to get closer to the most important funds, concludes the author, the Carpathian Euroregion has to get involved in lobby activities. After emphasizing the importance of European Neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI), professor Istvan Suli-Zakar concludes that this year we celebrate 20 years since the founding of Carpathian Euroregion, twenty years of successes overshadowed only by incapacity to adjust to realities of the changing geopolitical situation.
