Abstract
Polymer processing technology has shown huge progress with the development of synthesis methodologies, materials properties, and their ultimate applications. Many researchers have contributed in reporting the published literature in the form of book chapters and review papers which have described the evolution of polymer processing techniques; instrumentation, design, operating conditions, and the relevant applications. This chapter aims to focus on the current developments in the most advantageous conventional processing methods and their controlling parameters. The setup design, process parameters, and applicability of each process are discussed briefly. Each type of polymer processing is considered according to the most recent developments following the research activities.
