Abstract
This chapter presents the concepts relevant to Caracalla and new Tiber landmarks of Septimius Severus. Septimius Severus plays both in the Roman Empire embossing in particular as a couple until then largely unknown deities a prominent role. Examining visual evidence of the religious representation of the Roman Emperor Septimius Severus, the book offers a new look at the identity of a Roman Emperor originating in North Africa. In the study of the relationship of the imperial family to deities is an important aspect of the imperial representation in 2nd and 3rd Century AD.
