Abstract

Outsourcing of different home textile products has become an important practice for the home textile retailers. Global retailers are looking at reducing their dependence on a single country for supply home textile products, which have been diversified over a period of time. The chapter begins with the discussion of the global market of different home textiles and the demand thereof. The chapter then deals with export and import status of different developed and developing countries with reference to the niche market of varieties of home textile segments.
