Abstract
To apply a geometrical tolerance over technical drawings, the top surface must be kept parallel to the axis of the ø5 hole, which will be datum axis. The chapter illustrates diagrams for what is required in applying a geometrical tolerance, how a parallelism geometrical tolerance is selected, and how a surface to datum axis is selected from the parallelism choices. The chapter also presents a diagram to explain the tolerance frame, the datum symbol, and the selected tolerance.
