Abstract
Several motion blur parameters of flat panel displays are introduced. One of them is an integrated edge profile distortion (IEPD) used for gray level two block test patterns. An integrated pattern profile distortion (IPPD) is newly proposed for two-dimensional test patterns, and may be a generalized parameter representing strengths of motion blur and also those of other motion artifacts.
