Abstract

Small interfering RNA (siRNA) can be used to selectively reduce protein expression. Tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) plays a critical role in chronic inflammation. The purpose of this study is to develop, characterize and evaluate a novel TNF-α siRNA-loaded PLGA nanoparticle formulation for potential treatment of chronic inflammation.
