Abstract
161Dy Mössbauer spectra in DyRu 2Ge 2 were measured between 4.2K and 63K. This tetragonal compound has a Neel temperature T N = 22 K. Above T N, relaxation spectra are observed. B hf value at 4.2K gives a magnetic moment around 10 μ B. The lattice contribution deduced from e 2qQ experimental value, is in a good agreement with calculated electric field gradient values for a Ru 2− charge.
