Abstract

Introduction and aims of the study: Lymphangiomas are rare and benign cystic lymphatic tumors. Less than 1% occur in small intestine mesentery. The authors describe the incidental finding of such a mesenteric tumor in a 15-year-old patient’s emergent cesarean section. Methods: Clinical information was obtained from CHTMAD’s Obscare® and SClinico® databases. Results: A 15-year-old pregnant patient was referred to CHTMAD’s outpatient obstetrical clinic at 32 weeks due to inadequate pregnancy surveillance.
