Abstract
The setup of energy communities in Europe is not yet standardized either as a business model or regarding its regulatory framework. Nonetheless, ongoing digitization in the energy sector already triggers multiple activities shaping distributed energy supply infrastructures. Coneva is a corporate startup engaged in digital energy services, offering technical solutions to connect prosumers and consumers based on local energy management systems by turning data from various assets and installations into valuable data. With a platform-based approach, business-to-business offers are shaped to enable communities under very different conditions in terms of both market readiness and technical infrastructure. This chapter describes real-life concepts and the experiences of two projects.
