Abstract

Phase diagrams are an important part of the knowledge of thermodynamics depending on experimental conditions. The driving force requirements to achieve the required transformations are shown. T–C diagrams are mentioned. The kinetic version of phase diagrams co-founded by the author is an important part of this book. Such a phase diagram involving temperature changes such as intense cooling is in the form of nonequilibrium thermodynamic autonomy. We must also ask about the suitability of using the term “temperature” during quenching. Particle size and surface tension is another degree of thermodynamic freedom for the extensibility of the kinetic phase diagrams in the sphere of nanomaterials.
