Abstract

Highlights of this year's literature include the characterisation of [CuMe], the first diazene-bridged dicopper(I) complex, and illumination of dioxygen binding by dicopper(I) complexes. The observation of {Cu(η2-H2)}+ species has been a major development in studies of copper-exchanged zeolites. Among polynuclear copper(II) species, examples of square planar μ4-bridging hydroxide and trigonal planar μ3-chloride are remarkable.
