Abstract
AbstractIn stereoisomeric aryl cyclopropyl sulphones the 13C chemical shifts for C‐3 vary, while C‐1 and C‐2 are unaffected, on changing from the cis‐ to the trans‐configuration. The δC values of C‐1 of one of the aryl rings are shifted upfield in cis‐isomers and these values, together with those of C‐3, are used diagnostically to assign the molecular configurations.
