Abstract

There are significant racial/ethnic disparities in the prevalence of STI/HIV and sexual risk behaviors starting from adolescence. This study examined contributing factors to dating and sex in non-Hispanic white (NHW), NH-black (NHB), Hispanic and other race girls and how these factors affect the risk of having multiple sex partners, STIs/HIV, and inter-partner violence (IPV) up to early adulthood in the US.
