Abstract
Wells Fargo & Company is a diversified financial services company with over $1.8 trillion in assets. Wells Fargo provide banking, insurance, investments, mortgage, consumer, and commercial finance services. Wells Fargo Bank is one of the “Big Four Banks of the United States” along with JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup. In March 2015, Wells Fargo became the world’s biggest bank by market capitalization. Wells Fargo have three operating segments—Community Banking, Wholesale Banking, and Wealth and Investment Management (WIM). Wells Fargo focuses on new technology offerings and channels to gain competitive advantage. In 2015, Wells Fargo formed a new cross functional Innovation Group to facilitate technological innovation in financial services. The Innovation Group focuses on research and development, payment strategies, design and delivery and analytics. Wells Fargo focuses on the strategy of cross selling.
