Abstract

The innovation history of digital textile printing indicates that machine features have progressed through many advancements based on competitive requirements. Automation, accuracy, product volume and flexibility, and production speed have changed through all those times. The subsequent growth wave in the printing industry is driven by the advent of innovations and the expanding acceptance of digital technology solutions that enhance print speed, design, and efficiency. Digital printing technology is a comprehensive solution for textile designers and manufacturers. It consists of large-format digital printing technology, specialized software packages, and dyes and textiles explicitly created to meet the needs of the textile sector. The sector is, however, beset by a flurry of technological conversions from analog to digital printing. Rather than incorporating digital textile printing technology into a new business model, current technology use has adapted its system and procedures into existing operations in the digital textile sector’s time to make a paradigm shift. Surface imaging is one way to disrupt the current textile printing industry system and replace it with a more lucrative and holistic digital printing system in the future. With the nano ink development, the high-speed machine invention, the product development single-step process, and ease of design flexibility, the future printing market will be digital printing for textiles. Digital printing saves time and money for traditional printers, allowing businesses to stay competitive in the ever-changing world of textile printing. For a business owner, digital printing provides all of the advantages listed above, as well as the freedom of unrestricted design and an actual vehicle for creative ideas.
