Abstract

Drug-Related Problems (DRPs) are an undesirable patient experience that involves drug therapy and that actually or potentially interferes with a desired patient outcome. DRPs are common in primary care as well as tertiary care settings worldwide and affect patients, their families, healthcare providers, and the whole healthcare system. In order to manage the actual DRPs and prevent the potential DRPs, healthcare professionals should develop and improve their skills in order to identify the DRPs and solve the actual DRPs. This chapter aims to discuss drug-related problems and provides real cases about them.
