Abstract

Several problems resulting in electromagnetism can be formulated directly or conveniently positioned for an effective solution in the context of compressed sensing. This is motivated by the interest in the development and application of methodologies in compressed sensing for several conventional scenarios in electromagnetism. Massa et al. offer a review article summarizing the state of the art of formulations in compressed sensing in electromagnetism. The diagnostic and synthesis of antenna networks, estimation of the beams’ arrival direction, the solution of the inverse problems in electromagnetic diffraction and problems linked to radar imaging are covered.
