Abstract

The replacement of conventional materials by composite materials finds its place among various aerospace, automotive, and other industrial sectors because of its better performance with reasonable cost. The same can be subjected to various tests, and one is to test the failure analysis of the prepared composites, which play a vital role in deciding the performance. This chapter presents failure analysis testing of composites, especially hybrid composites prepared using various industrial waste. The chapter presents in detail the materials and the methods involved for the preparation of various hybrid composites using industrial waste, followed by the mechanical performance studies of the composites. In addition, the failure analysis of these prepared composites is analyzed and discussed briefly, with relevant research and reported works.
