Abstract

Neutrosophic theory is a useful theory to handle uncertainty in information. In this chapter, we develop a new solution for the neutrosophic linear programming problem (NLPP) when all coefficients in the objective function and the constraints are the neutrosophic number (NN). First a parametric ranking method is proposed to rank NNs. Then, a parametric efficient method for solving the NLPP is proposed using a linear ranking function for defuzzifying the NLPP. The prominence of this method is that the decision-maker’s opinion is effective. Finally, numerical examples are employed to demonstrate the capability of our methods.
