Abstract

On September 15, 1921, with Order № 7180 of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Labor, the Mixed Lower School of Trade and Cooperative Affairs opened its doors. It is the first vocational school in the region of Stara Zagora. The founders of the school are the industrialists Slavi Abanozov, Georgi Sandev and Sotir Novachkov, who with the assistance of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry set the beginning of the 100-year history of the High School of Economics “Knyaz Simeon Tarnovskiˮ.
