Abstract

Nanotechnology offers tremendous potential to address environmental issues. It can efficiently be employed in the fields of environment, including the remediation and purification, targeted drug delivery, detection of contaminants (sensing and detection), antimicrobial herbicidal activities, and food safety and the pollution prevention. Providing background on nanomaterials, the novel nanoadsorbents have opportunities and challenges for next generation.
