Abstract

Nanotechnology today is moving at a rapid pace and surpassing one visionary paradigm over another. Food technology is linked with nanotechnology in a vast range of applications. Scientific truth, scientific vision, and deep scientific understanding in the field of nanotechnology are veritably challenging the scientific landscape of our present day human civilization. In this present treatise the author pointedly focuses on the vast areas of nanotechnology, effects of nanotechnology in food industries, nanotechnology in food processing, the science of nano-dispersions and nanocapsules, nanofibers, nanoceuticals, nanoemulsions, nanocoatings, nanoencapsulation, and the varied world of nanomaterials. Technology and engineering science of food processing industry are highly advanced today. The scientific prowess of human endeavor, the vast technological motivation, and the scientific objectives will all be the forerunners toward the true realization of nanoscience and nanotechnology today.
