Abstract

Private banking is an assets gathering and managing business, which has helped many credit institutions to turn in their best performance over the years. The private banker must be able to assist customers in all aspects of the investment business: helping to safeguard assets through secure investments, and advising on how to acquire and build up greater wealth. Private bankers must also assure their clients, through practical evidence, that all investment-related areas are properly covered. Several organizational qualities of a private banking enterprise include flexibility, innovation, global presence, and leadership in financial information. The latter can be obtained through a worldwide network tapping the best services and products of the world's most serious financial institutions, and fashioning them into solutions that fit the clients' distinctive goals. For a credit institution, the infrastructure for private banking is an investment requiring a sound business plan. This plan should be factual and documented, and also complete and detailed, taking into account both past performance and projected improvements, including their reasons, likelihood and timing.
